If CrossLink knows that the signal is associated with a CrossLink account, CrossLink will also apply the request to that account as required by law. Your browser or device must be configured to transmit the signal.

CrossLink will not require you to create an account or verify your identity to submit an opt-out request. CrossLink may request only information reasonably necessary to identify the browser, device, account, or information covered by the request; process and document the request; prevent fraud; or confirm an authorized agent’s authority. An authorized agent may be required to provide written permission from the consumer and information sufficient to verify the agent’s authority. CrossLink may deny an opt-out request if it has a good-faith, reasonable, and documented belief that the request is fraudulent, and will provide any notice or appeal information required by applicable law.

We will not deny goods or services, charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised a privacy right, except as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

After you submit your request, we will display confirmation that it has been received. Where possible, we will also send an email confirming receipt and, when applicable, completion of your request.

After we process your opt-out request, we will not sell or share your personal information or process it for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable law, unless you later provide legally valid consent. We may retain, use, or disclose certain personal information as permitted or required by law, including to comply with legal obligations, detect or prevent fraud or security incidents, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
